2 Years - WOW

It has been over 2 years since I got my new knee! I LOVE IT! Today I went on a hike that I did with my daughter before the surgery - let me tell you it was so much easier. My "good knee" though is not my good knee anymore. My bionic knee is so much cooler! I am doing well.

I would have the surgery again in a heartbeat. It was the best thing I have ever done for my health! The next best thing I am going to do is lose weight! But that is a whole other topic for a different time.

What has the last 2 years been like? Well it has been very eventful. I celebrated my knee's first birthday with dinner and a movie...however, my knee's second birthday did not get much attention. It is a amazing when people ask me how my knee is...it takes me a while to give them an answer because....I DO NOT THINK ABOUT MY KNEE ANYMORE. 2 years ago I could have given an answer in less than 2 seconds...it was always the same...it hurts...But now that is gone. It is amazing that when you are no longer in chronic debilitating pain the changes that happen in your life.

I am so glad I did this!
